Professional Experience

Maintain a Python code library that interacts with custom designed FPGA chips for high speed data collection

• Utilizing Python to troubleshoot and sanity check data collection to validate functional FPGA chips
• Using oscilloscopes and function generators to inspect input signals to chips and verify against collected data

Develop and test lab equipment with LabView, to conduct physical layer security research experiments

• Minimize power consumption of proposed communication overhaul in a remote sensing data collection system
• Use MatLab to simulate signal strength at given locations to find minimum power needed for a link
• Development of an OFDM system in LabView for mmWave communications

Assist the Summer Engineering Program by preparing electronic materials and quality control of student's work

• Troubleshoot circuits for students and explained errors and possible solutions
• Teach students how to properly solder, strip, and connect components and wires
